The Lumix TZ5 was the first camera that I bought that led me to believe I could take some good shots. The 28mm lens is very clear, and the 10x zoom makes it great for a wide variety shots. Over the last few years I have gotten back into hiking and exploring the hills where I live and the TZ5 is always in my pocket. It excels at panaoramic shots, and the image stabalisation allows you get good sharp shots even at the full zoom!
As “point and shoots” go this is, in my opinion, one of the best all round camera you can get for under £250.
