My Impressions

Again due to price I decided that a Canon lens was out of my reach for the moment. Having made the choice to get a Sigma I can say that I am not disappointed.

The over build quality is reasonable and I should be okay to last into the future. It’s reasonable light for the focal length which is a big advantage as I take this with me whilst hiking.

The main thing I dont like about that lens is that to zoom and focus it barrel extends and by quite a bit. At full zoom it can be almost twice the length. Not the bigest issue in the world but if I get another Telephoto I will find the money for one that keeps its size. For the price though, I think it would be difficult to find another lense as good.
